THE FRASER VALLEY
Downtown
District of Mission
British Columbia - Canada
Mission has two distinct personalities, much like most other valley communities. One part is made up of the original town location with older buildings and a more sedate atmosphere which gives it its uniqueness. The other part, though useful and necessary is made up of subdivisions, shopping malls and strips that are duplicates of numerous such developments throughout the Lower Mainland and in most cases lack personality.
This page is made up of images from the older downtown.

Old meets new
Downtown Mission is the eastern terminus of the West Coast Express the
commuter train to Vancouver. Overnight and on weekends the trains are parked here ready to go again.
The proximity of the river and industry to downtown is highlighted here
